What happens in music class?
The typical music class is structured in the following way:
1st – Warm-Up, about 5 min. We warm-up our bodies, voices, and brains.
2nd – High Concentration. Here we will read, write, or think about music. (This can be done at the SMARTboard or with other activities.)
3rd – Change of Pace. Music game or movement activity that relates to what we were working on.
4th – Moderate Concentration. This is similar to High Concentration, but more activity.
5th – Light Concentration. Normally when we learn new songs, games, or activities.
6th – Line Up quietly to prepare for the hallway and return to class.
